GET INVOLVED — VOLUNTEER!

 

 

When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved! Your help is needed! Complete the Volunteer Interest form and we will be in touch with you. There are many events and activities that need helping hands and smart people like you to coordinate! 

 

Please remember to complete and turn in the MISD volunteer paperwork before volunteering for the 2025-2026 school year.

 

BE One of Our Go-To Volunteers!

IMS is in need of a strong pool of parents who can help out at events throughout the year. We would like to compile a Volunteer contact list to better help us meet this need. 

Have a lot of availability- Great! Have little availability- No Problem! The most important thing is that you are interested in getting involved and volunteering when it works for you. There will be various opportunities at various times.

It's Time to Sign-up for Gator Treats!

The very popular Gator Treats is back!  This is a great way for you to interact with the students while handing out delicious cookies at IMS.  There is no baking involved, just the opportunity to see students who are excited to see you.
We are looking for volunteers in October, November and December.  Sign-up opportunities go fast, so do not delay!  Click here to sign-up.
 
 

 

Enrichment Programs:

  • Fine Arts Showcase: Help with March event showcasing art, music, drama from all the MI District Schools.
  • Reflections Art & Writing Contest: PTSA sponsored student art & writing contest. Open to all students. Volunteers needed to coordinate
  • Spelling Bee: Volunteers help run this event.
  • Geography Bee: Volunteers help run these events.
  • Gators Go Green: Student recycling, composting and environmental stewardship club. Volunteers needed to support club events and activities.
  • 8th Grade Events: End of year celebration for 8th Graders. Volunteers needed to coordinate.
